Thursday 2nd April, Bookpoint 6pm

We are delighted to announce we will soon be welcoming Glasgow-based author Stuart Campbell for an evening discussion on his fabulous book “The Great North Road”, originally an unfinished novel by the great Robert Louis Stevenson, which Campbell has completed!
Stevenson, distracted by illness and the pressure of deadlines, wrote 19000 words then put the work aside. Acting as a literary sleuth, Stuart Campbell eventually located a list of intended chapter headings scribbled by Stevenson. With this as a guide, and after a robust discussion with the abandoned characters, Campbell completed the unfinished tale!
A rollicking tale of murder, mayhem, daylight robbery and doomed love, “The Great North Road” is a triumphant literary feat not to be missed – tickets available now, we hope to see you there!
